B-17

Sunday we went to see a real B-17 bomber. It was a very awesome experience. The aircraft "Sentimental Journey" was parked out at Mt. Vernon airport. It was built in 1944 but didn't see any action in WWII, it saw some air-sea rescue service after the war. Later in 1978 it was donated to the Commemorative Air Force for assignment to the Arizona Wing. It was then disassembled and painstakingly restored to original World War II configuration. I have some more photos at the bottom of the page so please enjoy.

Madysen Mae

About 3 months ago Nina and I became Grandparents. Madysen Mae was born 3:44pm on May 23, 2008 and was 6 pounds 9 ounces and 20 in long. This is Trisha's first child. Mady has been around for 3 months now and I have posted some photos to show how she has grown so far (see bottom of the page) . She is on the right track in this outfit. Showing how she will be a future Bears Cheerleader. Gramps couldn't be more proud!!
